APPRECIATING WHAT IS RIGHT ON YOUR DOORSTEP

So yesterday, since the weather was incredibly hot, me and my lovely mother decided to go out together on what I guess you can call a photography-included bonding day.

The previous day, mum told me about this place called Coi Pond around the Poole/Bournemouth border. I became excited when she told me we would be taking photos and walking around Bournemouth Gardens too.

I rose early the next morning in order to get the best of the weather, since mum said it was meant to rain as of 3pm. We got in the car and begun the little 15 minute journey from our house to Bournemouth gardens. I was happily surprised when mum stopped at a little bakery on the way there to grab us some lunch.

Armed with sausage rolls and pasties galore, we hopped back in the car and carried on our journey there.

The first thing we did when we parked up was grab all our camera equipment and went and found a bench where we could eat our hopefully still hot food. Of which it was.

We began with taking photos of the flowers behind us, and slowly strolled up to the steps that would take us to 'Coi Pond' itself.

Upon arriving at the actual 'pond'

(which was more like a little reservoir), we walked around and saw many little ducks and pigeons. I found a tiny hatched egg, however I sadly couldn't find any young chicks nearby.

As me and my dear mother walked around the pond snapping pictures, I came across a bee buzzing around my foot, and thought 'why not take a video'. You can check out the video on my Instagram (@symphonyblog).

Gradually we walked back to where we began, and walked through Bournemouth gardens, which is such a lovely lovely area.

After taking pictures of many different trees and flowers and other different plantlife, we decided to go home.

After a peaceful, amazing morning, both of us had a nice nap on our sofas.

I can't wait to go on my next adventure 😃🌸
